Handcrafted Scarves

These Handcrafted Scarves are my answer to that in-between space where you want real warmth, but you also want to feel a little bit pulled together. Over the years at craft shows, I kept hearing the same thing: "I need something I can throw on with a sweatshirt or a coat and not overthink." That is exactly how I build both my flannel and knit styles.

For the flannel versions, I start with soft, weighty plaids and prints that feel like a favorite shirt right from the first wear. I cut and finish each edge myself, paying attention to how the fabric drapes around the neck so it sits comfortably instead of bunching. These are the scarves you grab for bonfires, football games, and Saturday errands.

My knit scarves are all about stretch and coziness. I choose knits that are warm without being bulky, then sew them into easy-to-wear shapes that loop once or twice without feeling tight. They have a gentle give that works over everything from a fitted tee to a puffy winter jacket.

Because I sew in small batches, patterns and colors are always changing. Some scarves are bold and bright, others are muted and neutral, but every single one is soft against your skin. Many customers like to pair them with my reworked sweatshirts and recycled wool mittens for a complete, everyday slow-fashion look.
